Aphros, Phaunus Pet Nat 2021

Aphros is headed up by talented winemaker, Vasco Croft, who is undeniably one of the pioneers of Portugal's biodynamic winemaking scene. The team at Aphros do everything at their Vinho Verde HQ in harmony with nature; with minimal intervention from grape to glass and authenticity at the forefront of all their amazing wines. Phaunus Pet Nat 2021; a dry, single-ferment sparkling wine; is made from a blend of biodynamically grown Loureiro and Arinto. Zingy notes of green apple, candied lemon and pear move to a vibrant, yet creamy palate with further fruity flavours and nice long finish. Perfect as an aperitif.
